The Best Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup crunchy peanut butter (must be crunchy, not creamy)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Peanut Butter Chips (Preferably Reese’s)
Fremgangsmåte
Cream butter, peanut butter, and both sugars until smooth. Add eggs and mix well.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Combine wet and dry ingredients. Chill the dough for 1 hour.
Roll into 1-inch balls, place on parchment-lined baking sheet
Top with peanut butter chips (use Reese’s brand for best results)
Bake at 375°F for 9 minutes. Let sit on the tray to finish setting.
Enjoy warm… or even better the next day
Important tips:
Bake for exactly 9 minutes at 375°F. They won’t look done, but they are.
Use parchment paper to avoid burnt bottoms.
Add peanut butter chips on top before baking… game changer.
ONLY use crunchy peanut butter
And somehow… they’re even better the next day.
