Waldorf Chicken Salad

Ingredienser

4 cups Cooked Chicken (Diced)

1 cup Celery (Small diced)

1 cup Grapes (halved or quartered)

1 cup Apple (small diced, Fuji or Gala)

1/2-1 cup Mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder

1 cup Toasted walnuts (chopped, or pecans, optional)

Fremgangsmåte

Toss the Salad Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, chopped celery, grapes, apples, and walnuts.

Make the Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and garlic powder. Use closer to ½ cup of mayonnaise for a lighter dressing. If you prefer a creamier salad, feel free to use up to a full cup.

Combine and Serve

Gently fold the dressing into the chicken mixture until everything is evenly coated. You can enjoy it immediately, or cover and chill it in the refrigerator.
