Coffee Cake

Ingredienser

1 c. flour

2 eggs

2 c. brown sugar

3/4 c. milk

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cinnamon

½ c. Crisco shortening

2 tsp. baking powder

Fremgangsmåte

Mix and sift flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon. Cut in Crisco with knife. (Reserve 1 c. of this mixture os to sprinkle on top of cake). To the remainder of mixture add baking powder and mix well, add beaten eggs and milk and beat well.Pour into pans and sprinkle with mixture reserved for this. (oven - 400 for 20-25 min.)

I use one 9 x 13 cake pan
