Fried Zucchini Flowers

Bahan-bahan

  • 1C Floue

  • 1/2t Salt

  • 1/2t Baking powder

  • 1C Carbonated water

  • 24 Zucchini Flowers

  • 3C Oil

Arahan

  • Rise all flowers underwater & pat dry.

  • Slowly heating oil in pan to 350F on medium heat.

  • Combine all dry ingredients together, add water a little bit a time, to form a batter, whisk to form a lump free, smooth batter.

  • Dipped the flowers into the batter & shake off excess. Gently place them into the hot oil, not to crowd the pan, and about 30-60 sec per side. Until the batter is golden brown & puff up.

  • Remove them onto a plate or dish lined with paper towel and continue to fry in batches until they are all done.

Nota

  • You can stuff the flowers w/ cheese or sausage meat if you like.

  • Most of the flowers on the market are males, female flowers sometimes do come w/ a little, tiny, baby zucchini on it, and you can fry them just like so.

  • Zucchini flowers are edible, so you can mixed it into a plain olive oil or Parmesan cheese based pasta as it without frying if preferred.
