Easy Chicken Parm Bake

Ingredients:

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, crushed

hot red pepper flakes, to taste

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I used 5, but they were huge!)

2 cups marinara sauce

1/4 cup chopped basil

8 oz mozzarella, shredded

4 oz Parmesan, grated

1 (5-oz) package garlic croutons

Arahan

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Using a garlic press, crush two peeled garlic cloves

Add olive oil and pressed garlic cloves to coat the bottom of a 13 x 9 baking pan

Then, put the chicken breast over the olive oil and garlic cloves.

Next, add the marinara sauce and spread on top of the chicken.

Then, add the chopped basil and oregano mixture,

Next, layer 4ox of the mozzarella and 2oz of the grated parmesan on to herbs (half the cheese)

Then, add the croutons.

Top with the remaining cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 min - 1 hour. Check the chicken with a meat thermometer fo be sure the meat is done and properly cooked all the way through.

If desired, serve with spaghetti pasta and extra marinara sauce.
