Maple Glazed Meatballs

Lean ground beef 1 1/2 lbs
Prepared horseradish. 2 tbsp
Dry bread crumbs 1 1/4 cups
Large eggs, fork-beaten 2
Skim evaporated milk 1/2 cup
Chili sauce 1/2 cup
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Dry mustard powder 1/2 tsp
Ground allspice 1/2 tsp
Cornstarch 2 tsp
Maple syrup 1/2 cup

Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix well and form into 3/4 inch (2 cm) balls. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 450°F (230°C) oven for 10 minutes.
Combine remaining 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Add meatballs and cook, stirring, until heated through. Makes 96 meatballs.

Tip: To make dry bread crumbs, remove the crusts from slices of two-day old bread. Leave the bread on the counter for a day or two until it's dry, or, if you are in a hurry, set the bread slices on a baking sheet and bake in
