Slow Cooker Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1/4 cup milk (optional, for thinning sauce)
Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish

Prep the chicken: Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
Mix the sauce: In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning. Spread this mixture over the chicken.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hoursor high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender.
Shred & stir: Shred the chicken right in the slow cooker and stir it into the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, stir in a splash of milk.
Add the good stuff: Mix in half the shredded cheddar and half the crumbled bacon. Sprinkle the rest on top. Cover for 5–10 minutes, until the cheese melts.
Serve: Garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve over rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or on buns as sandwiches.
