재료

1/2 a head of red cabbage

1 red onion

1/2 a bushel cilantro

2-3 habaneros (diced)

2-3 limes

1/4 c white vinegar

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp Mexican oregano

Thinly slice your cabbage & red onion using a mandolin or a knife.

Add to a large glass/plastic bowl along with your cilantro & habaneros. Add 3 heavy pinches of salt. I just measure with my heart on this.

Massage it in really well until you feel it start to soften up about 4-5 mins.

Add in your vinegar, lime juice, sugar, pepper, and Mexican oregano. Give it a good mix, adjust anything to taste, and transfer to your favorite jar.

Let it sit in fridge for a couple hours before serving, but the longer it sits the better it gets!

Serve with taquitos, burritos, breakfast, whatever you want, and enjoy babe !
