Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham Bake

1 1/4lbs cooked ham, diced
1 can pineapple chunks, drained, reserve juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Dijon or yellow mustard
1 tablespoon soy sauce
reserved pineapple juice
¼ teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Dish
Set the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.
Prepare the Glaze
In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, mustard, soy sauce, reserved pineapple juice, and ground cloves until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
Combine Ham and Pineapple
Arrange diced ham and drained pineapple chunks evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Add Glaze and Toss
Pour the prepared glaze over the ham and pineapple. Gently stir to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly coated.
Bake Until Caramelised
Place the dish uncovered in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the ham is heated through and the edges are caramelised and golden.
Serve hot, accompanied by steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad as desired.
