Ingredienti

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4-6 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (or a mix of basil, oregano, thyme)

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

**Prepare the Chicken:**

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.

Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

**Brown the Chicken:**

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown (about 5-6 minutes per side).

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

**Sauté the Garlic:**

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic.

Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (be careful not to burn it).

**Create the Creamy Sauce:**

Pour in the chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Bring the mixture to a simmer.

**Combine Chicken with Sauce:**

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet.

Reduce heat to low and let the chicken simmer in the sauce for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened to your liking.

**Finish and Serve:**

Taste the sauce and adjust seasonings with extra salt and pepper if needed.

Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the top for a burst of color and flavor.
