Bahan-bahan

Slit and scrape 1 vanilla bean

2c half and half

1/4 c sugar

Combine these and heat over a medium flame until sugar dissolves

Then cover and let sit for 30 mins

Beat 4 egg yolks, then temper them w/ sugar, vanilla, and half and half mixture

Put back on stove over medium heat and keep stirring until thickened

Strain through a fine mesh strainer
