Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken Bowtie Pasta with Parmesan

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

12 oz (340g) bowtie (farfalle) pasta

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 ½ cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

Add remaining 1 tbsp butter to the skillet, then sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a light roux.

Slowly add chicken broth, whisking constantly, followed by heavy cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.

Stir in Parmesan cheese and return chicken to the skillet. Simmer 2–3 more minutes until the sauce is creamy and smooth.

Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly. Simmer 1–2 minutes more to heat through.

Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
