Fruit-Infused Lemonade

Base Ingredients:

1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)

1/2–3/4 cup sugar or honey (or to taste)

5 cups cold water (still or sparkling)

1–2 cups fresh fruit (see combos below)

Ice

Optional: fresh herbs (mint, basil, thyme)

🍹 Instructions:

Make a Fruit Syrup (Optional but Flavorful):

In a small saucepan, combine:

1 cup chopped fruit (e.g., berries or peaches)

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

Simmer for 5–10 minutes until fruit softens and releases juice.

Strain to remove solids, let the syrup cool.

Juice the Lemons:

Squeeze enough lemons for 1 cup of juice.

Strain if you want it pulp-free.

Combine:

In a large pitcher, mix lemon juice, cooled fruit syrup (or plain sugar/honey), and 4–5 cups cold water.

Add extra sliced fruit and herbs for infusion (no cooking needed here).

Stir well and refrigerate for 1–2 hours to let the flavors blend.

Serve:

Pour over ice.

Include fruit and herb garnishes in each glass for a pretty touch.

🍉 Flavor Ideas:

Strawberry Mint: Fresh strawberries + a handful of mint leaves.

Peach Basil: Ripe peach slices + fresh basil.

Blueberry Lavender: Blueberries + a small pinch of dried lavender.

Raspberry Lemon-Thyme: Raspberries + lemon slices + a sprig of thyme.
