TEXAS CAKE

Bahan-bahan

2 c. flour

2 c. sugar

1c. water

2 sticks butter

6 Tbsp. cocoa

½ c. buttermilk

1 tsp. soda (dissolved in buttermilk)

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:

4 Tbsp. cocoa

6 Tbsp. buttermilk

1 stick butter

Petunjuk

Combine flour and sugar. Set aside. Bring water, margarine, cocoa to rolling boil. Add fo flour-sugar mixture. Mix until smooth. Add buttermilk-soda mixture, eggs and vanilla. Beat till smooth. Don’t over beat. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake 25 minutes, 350 degrees. While cake bakes and cools, make frosting.

Frosting: Bring to boil frosting ingredients, beat in 1 pound box powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add optional ½ cup chopped pecans. Allow to cool before frosting cake.
