Oatmeal Cake (Janice Toth)

Bahan-bahan

1 1/2 cup boiling water

1 cup oatmeal

1 stick oleo

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/3 cup flour

2 teaspoon soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup chopped nuts

Raisins

Cake:

Stir boiling water into oatmeal and let cool

Sift flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon

Cream oleo.

Slowly add sugar and brown sugar

Add eggs and vanilla.

Add sifted ingredients to creamed mixture.

Add chopped nuts and raisins.

Add to a 9x13 greased pan.

Baked at 350 for 35 minutes.

Icing:

Melt oleo

Add brown sugar and milk and bring to boil.

Stir in coconut, chopped nuts, and vanilla

Spread on cake
