Black Cherry Old Fashioned

2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey 🥃

1/2 oz black cherry syrup (or muddled black cherries with 1/4 oz simple syrup) 🍒

2–3 dashes Angostura bitters 🧂

Large ice cube ❄️

Black cherry and orange peel for garnish (optional)

Petunjuk

In a mixing glass, combine the black cherry syrup (or muddled cherries and syrup), bitters, and whiskey.

Add a large ice cube and stir gently for 20–30 seconds to chill and dilute.

Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish with a black cherry and an orange peel twist if desired.
