Fruity Iced Tea (Mixed Fruit Style)

Ingredients:

4–6 tea bags (black or green tea work best)

4 cups boiling water

2–3 cups cold water

1 cup mixed fruit (fresh or frozen): strawberries, peaches, oranges, raspberries, etc.

1–2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional)

Juice of 1 lemon or orange (optional, for extra zing)

Ice cubes

Fresh mint (optional for garnish)

🧊 Instructions:

Steep the Tea:

Pour boiling water over the tea bags.

Steep for 5–7 minutes, then remove the bags.

Add sweetener while warm (if using), stir to dissolve.

Let it cool to room temperature.

Add the Fruit:

In a large pitcher, add the mixed fruit (slice large fruits like peaches or strawberries).

Lightly muddle (press) the fruit to release some juice but not mash it completely.

Combine & Chill:

Pour in the cooled tea and cold water.

Add lemon/orange juice if using.

Refrigerate for 1–2 hours (or overnight for stronger flavor).

Serve:

Pour into glasses over ice.

Scoop some fruit into each glass.

Garnish with mint or a citrus wedge.

🍍 Variations:

Tropical: Use green tea + pineapple + mango + lime juice.

Berry Blast: Use hibiscus or berry-flavored tea + strawberries + blueberries + raspberries.

Citrus Sunshine: Use black tea + orange + lemon + grapefruit slices.
