Chess Cake (Kay Prevatt)

Bahan-bahan

1 box yellow or white cake mix or any flavor

1 stick margarine

3 Eggs

1 tsp vanilla

8 oz Cream Cheese

1 box Powdered Sugar

½ cup chopped pecans (optional in second layer, best with chocolate box cake in first layer)

Petunjuk

Mix well box cake, melted margarine, 1 egg, and vanilla.

Pat mixture into 9 X 13” ungreased pan.

With mixer, beat cream cheese. Add 2 eggs, one at a time, blend after each. Blend in box of powdered sugar (save a little to sprinkle on top)

Pour mixture in pan layered over previous mixture.

Bake 45 minutes at 325°- 350°.

Do not overcook.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Cool in pan before cutting.
