SHIRLEY'S SANDWICHES (AKA Gloppy Sandwiches)

1/2 Lb Chopped ham

1/2 Lb American cheese - cut fine

2 Hard boiled eggs - chopped fine

1/2 C Olives - cut

1/3 C Onion - cut real fine

1/2 C Salad dressing

3 Tbsp Chili sauce

Hot dog buns

Mix all ingredients together.

Put in hot dog buns and wrap in foil.

Bake for 12-15 minutes @ ?F.

The recipe states to bake at 4 degrees. It may have been meant to be 400F, but who knows. The sandwiches were something Mom made and made us eat. Linda liked them. Neither myself nor Sally could stand them. I'd suggest baking @350F, in light of an unknown temp in the recipe I have. Really all you're trying to accomplish is to warm everything through and melt the cheese somewhat. As I recall, the buns were slightly crisp when removed from the foil, but I may be imagining that. Linda would likely be a better source on that.
