Garlic Mushroom Chicken Skillet

Chicken breast (for this recipe, I used 3 chicken breasts that I stretched by cutting into fours and then pounded)
Mushrooms
Onion
Garlic
About 3 cups of chicken broth (you can add as much as you want)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp of flour for roux
Recipe:
Season chicken with salt and pepper then sear on both sides over medium high heat. Set aside.
Sauté mushrooms and onion. Lower the heat to add garlic so it doesn’t burn. This is the part where you add about 2 tbsp of flour to make the roux which I forgot to do so I added flour slurry instead.
Upute
Pour chicken broth and deglaze the pan. Let it simmer and reduce to your liking. Once the broth is at a consistency that you like, you can adjust flavor by adding salt and pepper.
Add your chicken into the sauce and let it simmer. If you notice your sauce is getting a little too thick, you can adjust by adding more broth or water.
I garnished with Greek oregano straight from the garden to add a fresh, almost lemony finish.
