Butter 12, 6-oz ramekins
Cake:
Simmer together
12 oz. medjool dates
1 ½ C. water
puree
Cream:
4 oz. unsalted butter
1 ½ C. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Dry Mix:
1 ¾ C. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
2 pinch salt
add date puree
350 20 min.
Sticky toffee pudding continued
toffee
Heat:
2 ¼ C. cream
8 oz. butter
1 C. corn syrup
2 C. sugar
heat about 40 minutes, until dark amber
whisk in 2 ¼ C. more cream and strain
