Banana Bread Bars with Brown Butter Frosting

Cake Ingredients

• 1½ cups sugar

• 1 cup sour cream

• ½ cup soft butter

• 2 eggs

• 1 3/4 cups bananas (ripe)

• 2 tsp vanilla

• 2 cups flour

• 1 tsp baking soda

Frosting Ingredients

• ½ cup butter browned

• 4 cups powdered sugar

• 3 TBS milk

• 1 ¼ tsp vanilla

Cake Directions

1 Cream sugar, sour cream, and soft butter.

2 Add eggs, bananas, and vanilla.

3 Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.

4 Mix for 1 minute.

Frosting Directions

1 Brown the butter.

2 Mix with powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.

Baking Instructions

1 Bake at 350°F for 28 minutes in a jellyroll pan.

2 Cool.

3 Frost while warm.
