Name: Ny Style Pizza Sauce
Ingredients: Been getting lots of questions about my pizza sauce, so I’m reposting my go-to recipe! This is a super simple sauce that’s cheap, takes 2 minutes, and anybody can make!; RECIPE; 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes; 2 tsp salt; 2 tsp oregano; 2 tsp basil; 1 tsp sugar (optional); I find adding a small amount of sugar helps balance the acidity of tomatoes. It doesn’t make the sauce sweet! Each brand of tomatoes is different, so feel free to play around with it; Happy pizza making!
