Strawberry Jalapeno Bourbon BBQ Sauce

Ingrédients

6 cups Strawberries: Pureed

1 red Bell Pepper

1 Onion

4 Jalapeno Peppers (Adjust for preferred spice level)

3/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

2 tsp Dry Mustard

1 Tbsp Canning Salt

2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 Tbsp Lemon Juice

1/8 cup Bourbon

2 tsp Minced Garlic

1/2 Cup Honey

Instructions

Rinse the strawberries

Puree the strawberries, onion and peppers with a food processor

Add all ingredients to a large pot

Bring to a boil and then simmer for at least 30 minutes

Ladle into canning jars

Wipe the rims, remove the air bubbles and add lids

Process in a water bath canner for 15 minutes at a rolling boil

Remove jars and set them on the counter, do not disturb them for 24 hours
