Apple Strudel (Sally Vogt)

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon of heaping Crisco
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
Instructions
Cream together the sugar and Crisco. Slice the apples. Sprinkle cinnamon. Put dough on top. Stirred together one cup sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Pour on top. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
