Honey Chipotle Chicken Tenders

Chicken seasoning/ marinade:

Instructions

2 pounds of chicken tenders about 9

1/2 teaspoon salt, black pepper, cayenne 1 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder, paprika

1 cup buttermilk

3 tablespoons hot sauce - I used Louisiana hot sauce

1 tablespoon mustard and 1 egg

Approximately 3 cups neutral oil to fry like vegetable or corn oil

Dredge flour :

2 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne

Chipotle

1/2 can (3.5 ounces ) chipotle adobo sauce and peppers blended

1 cup chicken or veg broth

Sauce:

1 tablespoon butter

Chipotle sauce

3 tablespoons honey

Add all chicken seasonings to the chicken marinade. Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.

Mix the seasoning into the all purpose flour.

Dredge each chicken piece into the seasoned flour . Make sure to squeeze each piece and coat well.

Heat up oil in a large fry pan. When oil is hot on medium low heat fry each piece of chicken until golden brown turning halfway about seven minutes. Make sure to fry on medium heat. Do not fry on high heat or the outside will burn in inside of chicken will be raw. Remove onto a plate with a napkin to drain the oil. Let the chicken rest 10 minutes.

Blend together, chipotle adobo peppers with broth.

In a shallow pan add butter blended, chipotle sauce, honey let the sauce come to a boil when you reach the desired thickness of your sauce you can pour it over the chicken or you can add the chicken to the sauce and coat each piece.

Serve with ranch dressing.
