Slow Cooker Beef and Potatoes

2 pounds ground beef, (browned)
3 pounds peeled and sliced russet potatoes, (½ inch slices)
1 large white onion, (sliced)
1½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup beef broth
Instructions
Mix the ground beef with the seasonings and stir well.
In the bottom of your crockpot, add half of your potatoes. Follow the potatoes with half of the onions, meat, and cheese.
Repeat with a second layer of potatoes, onions, meat, and cheese.
Pour the broth over the top and cover.
Cook on high for 4 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
