Sesame Bombs 🧀✨
Ingredients
(1 cup = 200 ml)
For the dough
• 500 g flour (4 cups)
• 230 ml warm milk (1 cup + 3 tbsp)
• 2 eggs (separate the white of one and mix it with 1 tea glass of water — this will be used for sticking the sesame)
• 15 g salt (1 heaping tsp)
• 60 g room temperature butter
• 15 g sugar (1 tbsp)
• 8 g dry yeast (4 tsp)
For the filling
• 100 g beef ham
• 250 g mozzarella or kashar cheese (grated)
• 4 tbsp mayonnaise
To spread between layers
• Cream cheese
For coating
• Use bakery sesame seeds or toasted sesame seeds

Preparation
1. Place the flour in a mixing bowl and make a well in the center.
2. Add the yeast and warm milk into the well. Let the yeast activate for about 5 minutes.
3. Then add the eggs and salt, and knead the dough.
4. Once it starts to come together, add the butter and knead again until you get a soft, elastic dough. (The texture may vary slightly depending on the flour quality.)
5. Lightly flour your counter, gather the dough, and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
6. Shape each piece into a tight ball, cover them, and let them rest for about 10 minutes.
7. Roll out each piece, add the filling, and seal well.
8. Dip the top side first into the egg white-water mixture, then into the sesame seeds.
9. Press them slightly to flatten.
10. Let them rise for another 20–25 minutes.
11. After proofing, pipe cream cheese between them.
12. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (fan setting) until golden brown.
