7-Up Cake (Susan Dean)

Ingrédients

3 sticks butter

3 cups white sugar

5 eggs

2 tbsp lemon extract

¾ cup 7-Up

3 cup all purpose flour

Instructions

Mix butter and sugar until well blended.

While continuing to mix:

-Add eggs, one at a time, blending each in before the next.

-Add lemon extract.

-Add 7-Up

-Add flour

Put in large, lightly greased Bundt pan and bake at 325° for 1¼ to 1½ hrs.

Cake is done when lightly brown on top and very slightly pulling away from pan edges.

To change the cake, add a few drops of almond extract; or swirl some food coloring through the batter after it is in the pan or put in some pecans.
