A comfort food fakeaway at its finest, the chicken falls apart with the spoon you don’t even need to tear it with a fork! Sticky, sweet garlic chicken inside a bap unreal. You can skip the bap here and just have it with rice or noodles.
Ingredients (Roughly - I just chuck)
4-500g boneless chicken thigh
4 tbsp honey
7-8 garlic cloves or - heaped tbsp purée
1 tbsp cornflour with 1 tbsp water
1 tbsp hoisin
2 tbsp sriracha or tomato purée
5 tbsp dark soy sauce
100ml of chicken stock (optional if you want more sauce)
Spring onions to garnish
Brioche and coleslaw
Instructions
Throw it all into the slowcooker and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for around 7, perfect if you’re out most of the day
Stir and break the chicken up, pair with a brioche, noodles or rice you decide.
