Banana Cream Pie

5 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups milk
3/4 cup half & half
3 egg yolks
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 Pillsbury pie crust
4 bananas
Instructions
In a saucepan, mix cornstarch, sugar, salt, milk, and half & half. Stir constantly over heat until thick and bubbly.
In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks and add a small amount of the hot mixture, then combine back into the saucepan. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
Slice bananas and place on pie crust. Pour custard over bananas. Chill before serving.
