Homemade Almond Milk

Ingrédients

1 cup almonds soaked overnight

Pinch of salt

1/2 tsp vanilla

2 tsp maple syrup

4 cups cold water

Instructions

After soaking overnight, drain and rinse the almonds, then place them into a blender.

Add a pinch of salt, vanilla, maple syrup, and 4 cups of cold water to the blender.

Blend on high for 30 seconds until fully combined.

Strain the mixture through a strainer lined with cheesecloth (or a clean old t-shirt) into a bowl or pitcher.

Squeeze out all the excess liquid from the cloth to extract as much milk as possible.

Enjoy immediately, or transfer to a jar and store in the fridge for up to 4–5 days.
