Ingredients (US Measurements)
½ cup warm water
2 tbsp yogurt or cream
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil or honey
1 large egg
2 ½–3 cups all-purpose flour
Chocolate spread (Nutella)
1 egg (for egg wash)
Powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
Make the Dough
In a bowl, mix warm water, yogurt/cream, sugar, and yeast.
Add salt, oil/honey, and 1 egg. Mix well.
Add flour gradually and knead until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
Shape Dough Balls
Punch down dough and divide into equal pieces.
Roll each piece into a smooth ball.
Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
Fill & Shape
Flatten each ball into a triangle shape.
Fold the two bottom corners inward.
Add 1 spoon chocolate spread.
Roll up from the bottom and curve into a crescent/heart shape.
Bake
Place on a lined tray.
Brush with egg wash.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15–18 minutes or until golden.
Dust with powdered sugar.
