Beef & Guiness Pie

Ingrédients

1/2 kg lean beef, cut into no larger than 1" squares

1/2 to 2/3 c Guiness

onions

1 garlic clove

1/2 tsp thyme

salt

pepper

bay leaf

flour

worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Brown meat, when 1/2 done add onions.

Combine thyme, salt, pepper & flour.

Add Guiness, garlic, bay leaf to meat.

Stir in flour mixture. Cook 2 hours minimum.

NOTE: found this very strong with beer only. Added some water & beef stock.

Cool. Top with pastry.

Cook 375 - 35 minutes.
