Homemade Garlic Bread

1 loaf French bread

½ cup softened salted butter

½ teaspoon garlic powder

3 cloves minced garlic

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ cup shredded parmesan cheese

fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Prep

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut the 1 loaf French bread in half lengthwise, separating the top from the bottom, and place them, cut side face up, on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

In a small bowl, combine ½ cup softened salted butter, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, and ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese.

Spread the butter mixture evenly on the cut sides of each bread half. Bake the garlic bread for 12-15 minutes until the butter is melted and bubbly. If desired, broil for 1-2 minutes for a crispier top.

Top with fresh chopped parsley for garnish if desired, and serve fresh.
