Homemade Italian Sweet Cream & Cinnamon Bun Coffee Creamer

Ingrédients

1/3 - cup cane sugar or granulated sugar or brown sugar

1/3 - cup water

1 1/2 cups half & half

1 - teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 - teaspoon salt

1/2 - 1 teaspoon almond extract (start with 1/2 tsp)

Instructions

In a small sauce pan over medium heat, bring the sugar and water to a light boil, reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.

Stir making sure all the sugar is dissolved and remove from heat.

Let the syrup cool for about 5 minutes and add the extracts (this avoids flavor burn off). Stir to combine.

Pour the mixture into a 16 ounce or larger jar (with a lid) and add the half & half, vanilla, salt and cinnamon. Mix to combine.

Store creamer in the refrigerator for 7 - 10 days.
