Pecan Pie Bars

2 cups white flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup margarine
5 eggs
1 cup dark Karo syrup
3/4 cup white sugar
Dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup broken pecans
Instructions
Mix flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter and margarine until coarse crumbs form. Press into a 13" x 9" pan and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients (except pecans) and pour over crust. Add pecans and bake at 275°F for 50 minutes. Cool before serving.
