Copycat Orange Chicken

Ingrédients

1 ½  lb boneless chicken breast

2 tbsp oil

1 egg

1/3  cup cornstarch

3 tbsp flour

Sauce

2 large garlic cloves minced

1 tbsp grated ginger

¾ cup orange juice

3 tbsp hoisin sauce

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

3 tbsp brown sugar

½ lemon squeezed - about 2 tbsp

1 tbsp cornstarch

Garnishes - sesame seeds and chopped cilantro

Instructions

Cut chicken breasts into 1” cubes. Add egg and mix well.

Add flour, cornstarch and mix until chicken is well coated.

In another bowl add garlic, ginger, orange juice, hoisin, soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch. Mix well.

Heat large skillet, add 2 tbsp oil and saute chicken until lightly browned on all sides.

Add sauce and cook just until thickened, about 2 minutes.

Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro. Enjoy!
