Boiled Frosting

2 cups sugar
3/4 cups of water
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
dash of salt
2 stiff beaten egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
In a saucepan combine sugar, water, corn syrup, cream of tartar, and salt. Cook to 236°. Cover until sugar dissolves.
In a separate bowl beat two egg whites until stiff. Gradually add hot syrup. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat until spreadable.
