Cream Cheese Butter Mints

1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 teaspoons butter flavoring
1/8 teaspoon peppermint oil
1 (16-ounce) package powdered sugar, sifted
Paste food coloring
Cornstarch
Instructions
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at low speed with an electric mixer until blended. Add a small amount of food coloring; beat at medium speed until well blended (mixture will be dry). Knead mint mixture until smooth.
2. Press mint mixture into rubber candy molds that have been lightly dusted with cornstarch. Yield: 4 dozen.
Notes
These little gems are fabulous for a wedding or baby shower. They’re rich and buttery, and you can subtly color them to match your party theme.
