Oven Carmel Corn-Mary Cooper 1978

6 quarts of popcorn, corn
2 cups brown sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon butter flavoring
Instructions
Boil brown sugar, butter, syrup, and salt for five minutes. Remove from heat. Add soda and butter flavoring. Stir well over popcorn. Add peanuts or nuts if desired and spread on a cookie sheet. Place in a 200° oven for one hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Cool and Store in a covered container.
