Garlic Soy Roasted Cabbage Wedges

Ingrédients

1 medium green cabbage, cut into 8 wedges

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

salt and pepper, to taste

toasted sesame seeds (optional)

red pepper flakes (optional)

drizzle of sesame oil (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut the cabbage into 8 wedges, keeping the core intact so each wedge holds together.

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Brush the mixture generously onto all sides of the cabbage wedges.

Arrange wedges cut-side down on the baking sheet, spaced apart.

Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway if desired, until golden and tender.

Serve hot with optional toppings like sesame seeds or red pepper flakes.

Note

Top with sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, or a drizzle of sesame oil for added flavor and crunch. Great with grilled tofu, chicken, or even as a grain bowl topper. To reheat, use an air fryer or oven to retain crispiness.
