Honey Butter Cornbread Recipe

Ingrédients

2 cups Yellow Corn Meal

Indian Head brand)

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

2 Tbsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

2 cups milk

2/3 cup vegetable oil

2 large egg, lightly beaten

1 can of cream style corn (optional)

Instructions

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Grease 13×9 -inch square baking pan.

COMBINE cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Combine milk, cream corn, oil and egg in small bowl; mix well. Add milk mixture to flour mixture; stir just until blended. Pour into prepared pan.

BAKE for 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm.

ADD honey butter mixture on top, 10 minutes before cornbread is done, and then again at the end ❤️
