Ingrédients

Recipe:

1/2 cup warm water

1/2 cup warm milk

1 tbsp honey

3 tsp yeast

2 tbsp melted butter

1 1/2 tsp salt

2 3/4 cups flour (might need a tad more)

Instructions

Mix water, honey, and yeast and let sit for a few minutes. In a large bowl mix warm milk, melted butter, salt, and flour. Add in yeast mixture. Mix well and knead for a few minutes until the dough is soft, slightly tacky, and forms a ball. If it’s too sticky, add a little flour. Don’t go overboard with the flour though. Lightly oil your bowl and roll the dough ball in it. Cover and let rise. Mine took a little over an hour. Once risen, punch it down and knead on your counter for a minute. Divide. I divided mine into 4 but you can divide even more if you want smaller subs. Flatten out each section and roll up nice and tight, pinching the ends. Place on your cookie sheet and cover for 20-30 minutes, enough time to let them poof up a little.

Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes. Mine were good at 16 minutes. Rub butter on the tops right away and then let cool.

Load them up and enjoy! Let me know your feedback!
