Ingrédients

500g Wholemeal Flour

2 tsp Dried Yeast

1 tsp Salt

100g Pumpkin Seeds

100g Oats

450ml Warm Water

Instructions

Mix all the dry ingredients together

Add the warm water and mix with a knife

Cover the bowl with a tea towel and allow the dough to rise in a warm place for around 1 hour

Dust with flour and roll into a long loaf shape, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper

At this point you could cover the dough and allow it to rise again for a lighter bread

Bake at 200°c for 35 to 40 minutes, until the loaf sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom

Notes

First loaf baked as described was a little flavorless.

2/19 Added 1 tbs oil, 1 tbs maple syrup, tbs salt, 50g oats, 50g ground flaxseed and 1/4 cup extra water to balance flaxseed
