Chocolate Cornflake Cake

Ingrédients

Dry ingredients

135g all-purpose flour

200g sugar

45g cocoa powder

7g baking soda

3g baking powder

4g salt

Wet ingredients

185g buttermilk

(or 11g apple cider vinegar + 174g milk)

83g vegetable oil

2 eggs

6g vanilla extract

180g coffee

Ganache

200g chocolate

100g double cream

15g butter

Cornflake topping

130g melted chocolate

100g cornflakes

Instructions

Mix all dry ingredients together.

Mix all wet ingredients together.

Combine wet and dry until smooth.

Pour into a 6-inch cake tin.

Bake at 190°C for ~45 minutes (check with a skewer).

Make the ganache (heat cream, melt in chocolate and butter).

Microwave melted chocolate and stir through cornflakes.

Add ganache on top of the baked cake, then pile on the cornflake mix.

Optional: mini egg topping đŸ„šđŸ« (strongly encouraged, morally).
