Ginger Scallion Garlic Oil
20 tablespoons
portions-
temps totalIngrédients
1 cup avocado oil
2 large knobs peeled ginger
6 scallions
4 cloves regular garlic (or 1 green garlic)
Instructions
Pour the neutral oil into a small sauce pan and place on medium high heat, watching the temperature with a thermometer.
Peel and clean the aromatics and pulse in a food processor until blended but with a slight texture. Place into a glass or metal bowl.
Heat the oil until about 350 degrees fahrenheit or until the back of a chopstick creates small tight bubbles and the oil looks rippled.
Remove from the heat and pour the hot oil over the aromatics.
Let cool completely before spooning into the small ice cube trays. (I use 2 tbsp. Souper Cubes. 1/2 cube=1tbsp.= 1 serving in bowl of ramen)
Notes
Wide variety of use: ramen add-in, stirfry add-in, etc...
