This slow cooker chicken Florentine is a creamy and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken, spinach, and a rich Parmesan sauce. Serve it over pasta or rice for a complete meal.
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
4 cups fresh spinach
Cooked pasta or rice for serving
Optional garnish: chopped parsley
Instructions
Instructions:
Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Add heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Stir to combine the ingredients.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
About 30 minutes before serving, add the fresh spinach and stir until wilted.
Serve the chicken Florentine over cooked pasta or rice, garnished with chopped parsley
