Pecan Bars

Crust
354g flour
100g sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks butter
2 large eggs
Filling
2 sticks butter
321g light brown sugar
1/2 cup (5.5oz) corn syrup
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp salt
1lb pecans

Preheat oven to 375F. Line pan with aluminum foil. Mix all ingredients except egg until a corn meal texture forms. Add egg just until dough forms.
Transfer dough on 9x13 pan press on bottom & 3/4 up sides. Freeze 15 minutes.
Prick bottom of dough and bake until golden brown 22-25 minutes. Let cool on wire rack while preparing filling.
In a large sauce pan, bring butter, sugar, and syrup to a boil whisking constantly. Continue boiling without stirring until slightly darkened.
Remove from heat. Whisk the rest of ingredients in.
Spoon evenly over crust to create as flat a surface as possible.
Bake until bubbling and amber colored 18-22 minutes. Cool completely in pan.
Lift from pan and cut into 36 bars.
