6 cups flour
1/3 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cups oil
2 tsp active dry yeast
2 cups water
1 tsp sugar

Dissolve yeast in water and 1 tsp sugar (100-110F). Set aside for 10 minutes
Combine rest of sugar and oil and mix until sugar incorporates in oil. Sift together flour and salt. Mix in the sugar/oil. Add in the yeast mixture and mix until dough pulls away from the sides. Put dough on lightly floured work surface and let rest 10 minutes.
Start kneading the dough until smooth and elastic 10-15 minutes.
Roll dough into ball and place in an oiled bowl. Cover with damp towel and let rise in warm area until doubled or until an indentation stays.
Punch dough down and then roll into 4 equal pieces. Roll into logs and thickness is 1/2 inch round. Let rest 10 minutes. Cut logs into equal sized pieces and place on lightly greased baking sheet (coat the cut sides with yellow cornmeal) Let rise 20-30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 475F. When dough has finished rising decrease oven temp to 375F and bake around 20 minutes until golden brown. Flip trays around halfway through.
